Project Manager

We seek an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in Adelaide. Reporting to the Construction Manager, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with the Site Supervisors on project sites ensuring high-quality project delivery including QA and Contract Administration requirements, estimating, resource management and engage in business development.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Work closely with the Project Team in order to ensure compliance with Client and Ballestrin processes;
  • Ensure project is meeting program and correctly resourced;
  • Preparation, completion and submission of ITP’s, project plans, document control and QA documentation;
  • Cost management including preparation of progress claims, variations and procurement;
  • Compliance with contract terms and conditions for project;
  • Coordinate appropriate investigations, inspections, engineering analysis.

Skills and experience essential for being a successful candidate for this role include:

  • Proven experience in Contract Management and Contract Administration
  • Effective communication and the ability to build positive relationships with Clients, Project Team and Management;
  • Ability to follow directions;
  • Ability to work interstate when required;
  • Problem-solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team;
  • A team player with demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • High-level drive and ability to manage time and tasks for multiple projects;
  • Proficient abilities in Microsoft Office is essential, including MS Project.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate past experience working on large scale projects consisting of concrete and civil works.

Site Supervisor

We seek an exceptional Site Supervisor to join our team based in Adelaide. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be to work closely with the Project Managers on various small to large project sites to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Provide supervision of civil and concrete sites, working closely with the Project Team in order to ensure compliance with Client and Ballestrin processes;
  • Ensure project is meeting program;
  • Supervision of site personnel and subcontractors;
  • Writing and reviewing JSA’s and Risk Assessments;
  • Identify and procure materials;
  • Identify and coordinate resource requirements;
  • Project recording;
  • Implement safety procedures and policies.

Skills and experience essential for being a successful candidate for this role include:

  • Minimum 5 years extensive Site Supervisor experience or in a similar role;
  • Ability to capture all site works into a detailed site diary;
  • Problem-solving and innovation as an individual and as part of a team;
  • Proactive attitude and a “lead by example” motivator;
  • Ability to follow directions;
  • Flexibility to work interstate as required;
  • Proficient abilities in Microsoft Office is essential;
  • Ability to comply with drug testing and Police checks;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
